Manila is UserLand's dynamic content management system that can support the needs of large or small Web sites. Manila's easy to use browser-based interface allows distributed content owners to both author site content (using a WYSIWYG editor) and manage site functionality. Manila can be configured to allow an organization to provide individual employees, teachers, or students their own Website. Up to 500 Websites can reside on each Manila server. Frontier is UserLand's development environment and application server. It includes a scripting language, multi-threaded run-time, script debugger, object database, HTTP server, and connections to SOAP and XML-RPC. Manila is bundled with Frontier as a Frontier application.
